Materials may be purchased from the Teacher. Books generally range from $20-$35.

Tuition is calculated based on the entire semester, and divided evenly for monthly payments. Students may choose to pay for the whole semester on a monthly basis or at the beginning of the semester. Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month, and can be paid to Ariel Tseng by cheque or e-transfer arieltseng01@gmail.com

Enrolment. New students may start classes mid semester if there is space. Tuition will be adjusted accordingly. Your course includes instruction, lesson planning, materials, and access to the Drum It sheet music library. Your classes reserve a dedicated time in the teaching schedule, which is shared between 35 students. The teaching schedule is not able to accommodate make-up lessons.

Missed Classes. Students may opt to do a video lesson in lieu of class. This includes short term illness and vacations (2 weeks or less). For extended leaves of absence of 3 weeks or longer, please contact the teacher. 

Substitute Teachers. If the teacher cannot make the class, there will be a substitute teacher. If the substitute teacher is not available, a video lesson will be offered.

Video Lessons. Submit a video of each item on your most recent homework page. Play each item at 2 different speeds. Ariel will respond with video instruction including corrections and a play along video of each updated homework item.

**Please wear hearing protection during drum lessons as it’s an acoustic drum set. I recommend hears or loops to maintain higher hearing fidelity, but regular bluetooth or foam earplugs will also protect your ears.

A one (1) month notice is required if a student decides to stop classes mid semester.
