Cover Band 101

A GROUP Rock Band CLASS FOR ADULT MUSIC STUDENTS

TO PLAY COVERS AND JAM IN A BAND SETTING

  • 6 week course on Thursdays 7-8:15pm

  • January 16 - February 20

  • Session cost is $220

  • The band will learn 4 songs together, as well as learn to jam / improvise

  • Open to beginner/intermediate music students of drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and vocals.

Course Outline

This next session will be a Pop / Country band. You are expected to learn your own parts for the songs before we play them together in class, as we do not have time in class to focus on each individual instrument. A simplified version is okay. Learning the song structure and basic feel is more important than details. If you want help learning the songs you can book a private lesson to go over your parts. Although this is a non performing class, the students have the option to meet after the course is over to perform 2 songs at the May 31st IT Music Showcase.
